Free entry at the fairground. A must-visit if in Andalucía in May – one of Spain’s top festivals.
During the day, carriage processions of different styles and exquisitely decorated parading the grounds; ladies strolling elegantly in beautiful flamenco style dresses. Purebred Andalusian horses smartly guided by their riders in their horse riding costumes. Flamenco music sounds; group of dancers started a “sevillana”; booths offering glasses filled with rebujitos (7up and sherry wine) and fino wine. 5.00€ p/p – worth a try for the price.
At dusk, everyone awaited patiently for the lights to turn on. And finally, to the applause of the crowd – wow, what a light show. Has to be there to witness it fully, words or photos or videos not enough to describe the incredible display.
